1. Saffron
Contains Crocin and Crocetin (giving its signature golden hue and have been linked to mood regulation), and Safranal (associated with potential anti-anxiety effects).
Saffron has been treasured for centuries in Persian, Indian, and Mediterranean cultures, often prized for its warming and joyful nature.
Emerging evidence suggests that saffron supplementation can help alleviate mild depressive symptoms. While the exact mechanisms are still being uncovered, saffron’s ability to help balance certain neurotransmitters (particularly serotonin) is often cited.
2. Damask Rose
